Position Overview – Vice President General Manager
We are Searching for an experienced and growth-oriented Vice President General Manager who will provide overall leadership and strategic direction to a multi-site team! A successful candidate will possess a high degree of urgency, have management experience in the home service industry, to include full P&L responsibility. As the brand leader, the Vice President General Manager will not only oversee and enhance core operations functions, but also has the capabilities, thought leadership, and drive to help rapidly scale the operations for future growth.
The Vice President General Manager will have primary responsibility for the business development, estimating, sales, project management, and production. He or she will be measured on lead generation, closing procedure, revenue per job, quality, customer service, productivity, and overall brand profitability. The Vice President General Manager will be responsible for the development & growth of the company sales, marketing, administrative and production teams. The Vice President General Manager will also focus on meeting and exceeding operating and financial budget goals, client objectives, OKR metrics, and customer satisfaction. This individual will be focused on ensuring operational excellence in the delivery of the services the company provides.
Core Responsibilities
- Drive operational efficiencies, labor/scheduling productivity.
- Delivering corporate financial results and achieving plans through daily management.
- Ensure that client objectives are fully met by maintaining active customer and referral source relationships and communications including formal structured monthly business reviews.
- Collaborating with the Water and Reconstruction Divisions to improve inter-division processes and close rates while achieving company objectives and planned results.
- Collaborating and Reporting to the Executive Leadership Team.
- Foster a positive work environment and utilize effective communication skills at all levels of the organization with a focus on company culture.
- Manage all facets of the organization including full P&L responsibility.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance in all regulatory processes and programs and managing employee relations.
- Responsible for the training, development and performance management of sales, marketing, administrative and production personnel.
- Manage recruiting, staffing of employees and subcontractors while projecting future needs.
- Establishing and ensuring superior customer service levels within the department.
Qualifications
- High degree of integrity and business maturity with exceptional customer service skills
- Ideal candidates will possess a high energy level that is communicated to the team they will lead
- Ability to identify areas for performance improvement.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 40% of the time between office locations (2 days a week, no weekend travel)
- Proven in depth change management experience using a variety of change management methodologies.
- Experience with Lean / Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
- Solid understanding of business reports and KPI reports
- The ability to manage in a diverse environment with focus on client and customer services is a key success measure.
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in general, operational, multi-site management experience required.
- Able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
- Previous P&L experience required to include managing budgets in the multi-millions within the service industry, with a proven track record of growing accounts.
- Valid driver’s license
- Prior experience in mentoring and developing management, marketing, sales & production teams.
- Previous home service or construction management experience highly preferred
- Previous management experience in the Disaster Mitigation and Restoration industry a plus
- Proven success in interfacing with a variety of organizational functions and considerable negotiation skills are also needed to drive results.

Pay: From $150,000.00 per year
Supplemental Pay: Bonus pay (up to 30% of the base salary)
