Executive Housekeeper- Larchmont, Ny

Larchmont, NY based, family of four is looking for an energetic, child friendly, organized, flexible and hands-on housekeeper. The individual will work on a variety of tasks related to daily life of extremely busy husband and wife team and their two young children. The individual will provide high-level support in managing, coordinating, and facilitating a smooth operation of two main households, primarily in Larchmont, NY and on occasion in Tannersville, NY. This position requires special knowledge, understanding and experience in assisting a dynamic family with everyday household(s) tasks. Candidate must be easy going, organized, independent, able to communicate clearly, follow directions and take initiative when appropriate.

Responsibilities:

• Occasional food shopping and meal prep, monitor allergies and prescriptions
• Management of wardrobes (tracking and dry cleaning)
• Detailed cleaning; deep cleans and keeps house clean throughout as part of normal duties
• Laundry; including washing and ironing clothes and sheets
• Creating and maintaining inventories for pantry, fridge, freezer, cleaning supplies of all types
• Maintaining tidy and orderly storage areas (closets, cupboards, shelves, etc.)
• Oversight of general maintenance of the residence(s), point out necessary repairs / purchases
• Packing and unpacking for travel, especially to and from second home

Requirements:

• Valid drivers license and clean driving record
• Excellent verifiable references
• 5+ years of similar experience with one family
• French speaking a PLUS

Salary: $35 – 40 an hour plus overtime
