Job Description
Position: Live-out Housekeeper
Location: New York, NY (Tribeca)
Schedule: 5 days a week, hours TBD (8-10 hours per day); Flexibility required as shifts can change based on family’s needs and may require weekend work
Salary: $35-40/hour plus benefits

SUMMARY:
New York based private family seeks a hard-working, responsible, and trustworthy Housekeeper with at least 5 years or more of experience working with an UHNW family. This position requires weekly cleaning and
maintenance of three NYC apartments. The successful candidate will have, among other characteristics, excellent cleanliness standards, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. Attention to detail,
prioritization, and time management skills are important as are flexibility, honesty, reliability. This is an hourly position with a minimum of 40-50 hours per week. The Housekeeper will report to, and work closely with the
Leadership Team as well as directly with the Principals.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Daily cleaning, dusting, mopping, polishing, and washing
  • Some light cooking and serving
  • Greeting family and guests upon arrival
  • Receiving packages and maintaining a delivery log
  • Laundry and ironing and/or sending out dry cleaning
  • Running errands
  • Performing other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
  • Able to prepare simple meals
  • Knowledge of caring for fine garments: handwashing, ironing, stain removal and steam-pressing
  • Knowledge of cleaning products and their application/use on museum quality furniture and various surfaces
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Planning and organizational skills for closets, cabinets, and other storage spaces
  • Must have at least 5 years of experience working as a housekeeper for a high-profile employer always ensuring 5-star service
