Job Title
Part-Time Executive Assistant and Office Manager
Edelen Renewables is seeking a part-time Executive Assistant and Office Manager to work in our downtown Lexington, KY office on a contractual basis. Ideal candidates will be able to execute the following job tasks on a weekly average of 30 hours per week, typically scheduled Monday through Thursday with Fridays off:
●Manage and maintain executives' schedules.
●Make travel arrangements for executives.
●Answer telephones and give information to callers, take messages, or transfer calls to appropriate individuals.
●Greet visitors or callers and handle their inquiries or direct them to the appropriate persons according to their needs.
●Communicate with customers, employees, and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate or explain information, take orders, and address complaints.
●Use computers for various applications, such as database management or word processing, Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams, Google Suite (including Word and Google Docs, PowerPoint and Google Slides, Excel and Google Sheets), Adobe, and demonstrating the ability to use search engines effectively.
●Operate office equipment, such as fax machines, copiers, or phone systems and arrange for repairs when equipment malfunctions.
●Maintain and update filing, inventory, mailing, and database systems, including manual and electronic materials.
●Compile, copy, sort, and file records of office activities, business transactions, and other activities.
Additionally, ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate the following knowledge and skills in their work-related tasks:
●Active Listening — Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, and asking questions as appropriate.
●Reading Comprehension — Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work-related documents.
●Speaking — Talking to others to convey information effectively.
●Service Orientation — Actively looking for ways to help people.
●Coordination — Adjusting actions in relation to others' actions.
●Administrative — Knowledge of administrative and office procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, Google Suite (email, Drive, calendars etc.), and workplace terminology.
●Computers and Electronics — Knowledge of computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.
●Customer and Personal Service — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
Wages will be negotiated based on experience.
