Avalara is seeking an Executive Assistant to support the Chief Revenue Officer, SVP of Global Sales and potential for one low touch executive. This role will have a wide range of creative/coordination/administrative responsibilities in a fast paced, dynamic environment. You must be an energetic, bright, motivated individual, with a positive can-do attitude. You are a detailed oriented individual who can manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. Responsibilities:- Manage expense reporting and reconciliation
- Coordinate internal and external executive events and meetings, including staff, all-hands, and off-site meetings
- Provide executive level support including calendar management and scheduling meetings.
- Manage administrative activities to assist in the completion of key deliverables, including reporting, PowerPoint presentations, etc.
- Secure and manage travel arrangements
- Ensure best utilization of executive time
- Provide support on special projects as needed
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant professional experience, with at least 2 years providing direct support to senior-level executives
- Ability to work non-business hours on occasion
- Successfully operate in a very fast paced environment and interact effectively with all levels of the organization
- Ability to travel if needed
- Must be able to maintain composure under pressure and manage unforeseen circumstances
- Expertise in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Ability to take initiative and possess a drive for delivering outstanding results
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and maintain confidentiality
- Outstanding organization, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and wear many hats in a team environment with a professional and diplomatic demeanor
Pay Range Details
The base pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be
different in other locations.
Colorado $78,700-$125,900 (annually)
Washington $78,700-$139,200 (annually)
California $78,700-$152,500 (annually)
NYC $95,300-$152,500(annually)
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. The
successful candidate’s actual salary/wage may be based on various factors, such as geographic
location, candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
This role is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance, depending on
the terms of the applicable plan and the employee’s role.
