Administrative Assistant

Our National Sales Team, located in Lincoln, RI is seeking an Administrative Assistant. This position entails general support work which may include but not limited to typing, filing, handling telephone calls, computer keyboarding, correspondence and additional duties as necessary primarily for the department. Regularly involved in special projects.

This is a 40-hour work week, Monday - Friday, 8:15 AM to 5:00 PM. Pay range of $18.67 - $24.97 per hour, based on experience. Work from home may be available up to two days a week once trained to work independently.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the opening, sorting and distribution of incoming mail to the office, collecting and stamping outgoing mail from the office.
  • May be called upon to handle other duties as required.
  • Making sure all the printers are always filled with paper.
  • After being hired, employees are required to obtain a state insurance license and meet continuing education requirements to maintain their license (comprehensive training will be provided).
  • General support work which may include but not limited to typing, filing, handling mail.
  • Collect and distribute all paperwork generated by the printers at various times during the workday.
  • Troubleshoot inactive printers, fax, mail machine and copier

Requirements:

  • Solid interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrates superior time management skills, always completing duties accurately and efficiently.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent education
  • Some knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Possesses excellent telephone skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work.
  • Effective communication skills
