Job Details

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Permanent Estimator to join our team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating, purchasing, and multifamily construction. If you are a self-starter, detail-oriented, and have a passion for delivering high-quality projects, then we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Participate in project meetings, providing input on cost and schedule issues
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids to ensure that they are competitive and meet project requirements
• Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
• Prepare change orders and negotiate pricing with subcontractors and suppliers
• Work closely with the project management team to ensure that projects are completed on schedule and within budget
• Analyze project specifications and blueprints to determine the scope of work and materials required
• Collaborate with the purchasing team to ensure that materials are procured on time and within budget
• Conduct site visits to assess project progress and identify potential issues
• Prepare and review estimates for multifamily construction projects

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques
• 3+ years of experience in estimating, purchasing, and multifamily construction
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating software
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications
• Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field is preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
