Job Summary: Support Sales Engineers with plan-and-spec review, submittal preparation, order-entry, 3rd party buy/sell equipment coordination, customer technical support, and perform general project management responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Project-manage sold projects to successful and timely turnover to Project Specialists
• Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of the role. Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge, techniques, and skills.
• Generate submittals.
• Provide technical support.
• Configure, select, and price HVAC and controls equipment.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, and customers.
• Prioritizes workload and requests to ensure customer and employee satisfaction are delivered.
• Adhere to health and safety policy, and other requirements relating to care of equipment.
• Communicates with customers and their representatives, including building owners, mechanical contractors, mechanical engineers, other trades, subcontractors, and field support staff. Maintains customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with customers and assigned staff.
• Generate change orders / proposals.
• Maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, and adherence to relevant health & safety procedures.
• Arrange and participate in meetings, conferences, and project team activities.
• Prepares reports and correspondence and maintains project files.
• Travel to jobsites to resolve issues and provide company representation is required.

Reliable, tolerant, and determined. Empathic communicator, able to see things from the other person’s point of view. Able to get along with others and be a team player.

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering highly preferred. Knowledge of HVAC equipment and controls a plus.
Personal Situation: Able to commute reliably to office base. Able to work extended hours on occasions when required. Role is hybrid remote/office with a minimum of three, 8-hour days at the local commercial sales office.
