What you’ll do:

• Inspect equipment and systems for electrical code and safety deficiencies
• Assist with the procurement of new electrical, refrigeration, and compressed air rental assets
• Design and implement safe, reliable, and efficient electrical power generation and distribution systems
• Analyze test data and reports to determine if design meets functional and performance specifications
• Help the sales team secure contracts by visiting client sites and crafting creative economical solutions
• Carry out peer-review of engineering deliverables
• Travel approximately 25%
• Test, install, commission, program, and troubleshoot low voltage and medium voltage switchgear, transformers, voltage regulators, motor controllers, and PLCs
• Perform light drafting duties using AutoCAD to create and modify single-line diagrams, location plans, grounding plans, schematics, and wiring diagrams

Requirements

We’re experts, which means you’ll have the following skills and experience:

• 5+ years of relevant hands-on work experience
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• General understanding of engineering economics, estimating, budgeting, and basic financial principles
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to persuade through the use of logical arguments and objective data
• Working knowledge of relevant industry-consensus codes and standards from NFPA, IEEE, and UL
• Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering

• Protective relaying/coordination, circuit analysis , IEC transformer vector groups
