The role you’ll contribute:
The Epic New Hire Training Coordinator is responsible for facilitating the backend processes of ensuring all AdventHealth team members who need Electronic Medical Record (EMR) training is assigned, as well as access is activated timely post completion of all required training. The coordinator will work closely with training leadership and the Learning Management System (LMS) team for Epic, as well as occasionally with the Principal Trainers. The Epic New Hire Training Coordinator will provide relevant training reports, monitor dashboards, and interact with all levels of team members across AdventHealth.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
- Enrolls team members in instructor led training classes as appropriate – managing training calendars and creating classes as needed based on trainer capacity and demand. Assigns trainers to session as needed.
- Manages New Hire Training ticket queue in ServiceNow.
- Reviews and unblocks user access post successful completion of required training tracks.
- Solves logistics and implementation problems quickly with minimum impact to team members.
- Communicates with training team, operational leaders, and new hires (as needed) on training status and issues.
- Works with management and technical teams to report and resolve any issues impacting training and access.
- Provide reporting, analysis, and insights from all training data. Shares themes with team and offers/implements ideas for improvements.
- Execute disciplined process for assigning new hire/transfer training requests in the LMS based on user access. Execute disciplined process for assigning implementation training tracks to newly hired team members during an implementation training cycle. Differentiates training based on role/department/campus/training modality.
- Monitors and responds to messages within a shared inbox within a defined timeframe
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
- LMS and Clinical Hospital experience preferred
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1 year relevant/related work experience
- Multiple Epic application experience preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills fostering effective interaction among a variety of stakeholder groups
- Moderate Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
