Epc Project Manager Jobs

Progressive Global Energy is seeking a Project Manager for our large- scale Utility client, in this role you will lead and motivate a team of managers and other staff in the day-to-day management of project safety, quality, schedule, cost control, contracts, subcontractors, suppliers, proposals, estimates, documentation turnover, client relations/management, field staff and other duties required to execute Engineer Procure Construct (EPC), Construction Management, Construction, and Program Management projects. The projects may include new, rebuild and reconductor on underground distribution lines and associated equipment.

This position is 100% in office and includes benefits, and pay ranges $65-75 per hour based on experience level.

• Review daily construction field reports, as necessary.
• Lead and oversee the project plan for site mobilization and demobilization and support Site Manager with implementation.
• Oversee client, supplier and company commissioning and startup teams.
• Present reports to internal and external executive management as required.
• Secure applicable project permits.
• Oversee the training of project teams, coordinate activities of multiple global practices/disciplines, and facilitate the efficient cost-effective utilization of staff while adhering to contractual and performance requirements.
• Manage Prime Contract, subcontractor, and supplier invoicing process.
• Lead and oversee the downstream Request For Proposal (RFP) and bid process and prepare detailed scope of work documents for supplier and subcontractor contracts, including recruiting, prequalifying, evaluating, recommending, and selecting subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Analyze and approve internal and external reports including project scheduling, budgeting, cash flow forecast, and project status reports.
• Manage and audit the project documentation and filing systems.
• Work with superintendents and site manager to verify compliance of subcontractors and client contractors with contract documents, safety & health requirements, quality, and schedule.
• Train new project team members on these processes.
• Analyze and communicate project status, risks, schedule and costs to all internal and external stakeholders.

Candidate Background

• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• Minimum of 7 years related experience, including 3 or more years managing engineering or architectural projects.
• Experience with transmission and distribution is preferred
