Job Description
Job Title: Construction Project Manager - Mission Critical Projects
Location: Chandler, AZ
Our growing company is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Construction Project Manager with a focus on Mission Critical Projects to join our team in Chandler, AZ. As a leading provider of mission-critical infrastructure solutions, we are dedicated to delivering cutting-edge projects for our clients across various industries, including data centers, high tech manufacturing, and life sciences.
Responsibilities:
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, reduce waste, and enhance overall project performance.
  • Actively manage risk, identifying potential issues and implementing mitigation strategies to minimize project delays and cost overruns.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to senior management, clients, and other stakeholders, highlighting progress, challenges, and solutions.
  • Review and manage contracts, change orders, and other project-related documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations and company policies.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and expectations.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress, assess quality and safety standards, and address any concerns or issues promptly.
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of mission-critical construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
  • Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and schedules, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, teamwork, and proactive problem-solving.
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in mission-critical construction projects.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management including mission-critical projects or similar.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, safety standards, and industry best practices.
  • Proficient in project management software and other relevant tools.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, LEED, or CCM are highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal building codes and regulations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex projects.
