Job Description
Caliber is seeking a full time Project Manager to join our team locally in Scottsdale, AZ.


This position reports to the SVP of Operations and will provide elevated project management to Caliber’s various teams and technical platforms. In this role, a project manager plans, organizes and oversees a project from start to finish, seeking to ensure the project is finalized to the contentment of all stakeholders. The role identifies the project's goals, objectives, and scope and creates a project plan that outlines the tasks, timelines, and resources required. They communicate with the project team and stakeholders, manage risks and issues, and monitor progress to ensure that the project stays on track. A project manager also evaluates the project's success and identifies areas for improvement in future projects.


Primary Responsibilities


  • Lead weekly project status meetings, communicate project status to leadership and stakeholders
  • Coordinate project scheduling and forecasting from conception to final completion
  • Ensure projects are completed on time while meeting business and system requirements
  • Facilitate the completion and approval of project design and decision documents
  • Communicate project status, progress on deliverables, and risks/issues to partners and leadership in a timely manner
  • Help translate business requirements into solutions that best leverage the project management tools
  • Implement, maintain, and continuously develop suitable tools, visuals, and metrics to support project management effectiveness, while aligning with the growing needs
  • Develop and retain project documentation files consisting of technical documents, procedures, specifications, data sheets and other project-required documents
  • Responsible to manage scope and expectations of the project teams to ensure project stays in alignment with objectives and timelines
  • Participate in technical design sessions; and document technical solutions aligned with business objectives
  • Manage new system deployment, integration and optimizations
  • Manage vendors and external resources and contracts as requested
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications (required Unless Otherwise Stated)


  • Proficiency in Smartsheet or other project management programs/tools
  • Bachelors degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training
  • 5+ years of direct IT/technical project management experience, within the real estate industry preferred


Knowledge/Skills/Abilities


  • Ability to adapt to processes and deal with ambiguity
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to use best judgement to work through challenges
  • Ability to form relationships quickly and operate deep in the details while maintaining an understanding of the larger business strategy for scale
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under deadline pressure
  • Clear, effective oral and written communication skills are required, must be careful listener and clear communicator
  • Attention to detail to ensure accurate and consistent data and reporting


Physical Demands


This job operates in a professional office environment with occasional travel. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets. The employee frequently communicates with internal team members, investors, and vendors. This role must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. This role constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a copy machine and printer and occasionally moves items up to 50 lbs. for various projects.
