Position Summary
The Entry Level Recruiter is responsible for identifying, recruiting, and screening potential employees for all positions. Additionally, this position collaborates with hiring managers and the Human Resources team to address staffing needs and provide aid to onboarding processes.

Duties/Responsibilities
  • Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.
  • Lead and present new hire orientations and assist new hires with completion of onboarding documentation and materials.
  • Initiates and maintains contact with qualified candidates throughout the interview and beginning onboarding processes.
  • Manages the department email inbox, answering questions and returning calls daily.
  • Conducts preliminary phone interviews/screenings and coordinates the scheduling of candidate/hiring manager interviews.
  • Attends and participates in job fairs and recruiting events.
  • Reviews all candidate applications daily, to ensure qualified candidates are being engaged and expedited in the recruitment process.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities
  • Must be able to work and contribute independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to operate general office equipment.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Must be able to conduct telephone interviews and effectively present information to an audience.
  • Must be willing and able to learn Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and company website navigation.
  • Must be organized and attentive to detail.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.
  • Movement of the wrists, hands, and fingers including grasping, pinching, twisting, typing.
  • Ability to express and exchange ideas through oral communication.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to hear sounds at a normal speaking level with or without correction.
  • Must be able to operate a business telephone.
  • Ability twist, turn, reach, reach overhead.

Additional Details:
  • Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (work hours will be adjusted on days scheduled for orientations/trainings)
