Job Overview

The Employment Practices and Compliance Director will work with the Associate General Counsel, Labor & Employment to set the strategy for and manage the Legal Department’s strategic employment projects, labor relations activities and compliance initiatives, and maintain a comprehensive plan to ensure effective employment practices for Coca-Cola Consolidated. This position will also collect and analyze employment compliance data to prepare reports for Legal Department leadership.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Identifies and analyzes patterns and trends from a variety of employment compliance sources to and/or compliance efforts
  • Leads multiple employment compliance projects from inception to completion including working with Legal department stakeholders to establish project timelines and goals
  • Partners with Human Resources and business leaders to ensure compliance with all required employment-related federal, state, and local regulatory initiatives with a particular emphasis on wage/hour regulations
  • Develop and monitor a risk-based road map to address areas of opportunity within the organization
  • Creates a comprehensive plan to ensure effective management of employment practices claims
  • Develops and maintains a system for documenting employment compliance activities and communications which are conducted to support employment regulatory compliance efforts

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4 years of education beyond high school in college or technical school
  • Knowledge acquired through 5 to up to 8 years of relevant work experience
