Summary:
The Ecommerce Merchandiser holds responsibility to accurately and strategically position products and services across multiple ecommerce websites based on real time customer behavior and other business metrics. This individual will use digital tools such as Searchspring and Google Analytics to analyze search and purchase patterns, ultimately making updates to Cardio Partners’ display of products and services across ecommerce channels. Serving as the team expert in merchandising best practices, this individual will ensure accuracy and completeness of product information such as price, stock status, shipping speed and eligible promotions are reflected online across brands.

Organizational Impact:
This role provides critical strategy and execution of ecommerce merchandising and promotion activities, which directly influence Cardio Partners’ ability to reach more customers and put life-saving equipment and training in the hands of more communities.
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Connect with product management to ensure campaign efforts are supported with sufficient stock, confirm offers are aligned with business goals and MAP regulations, and customer targeting is accurate.
  • Contribute to campaign and promotion calendar to align with business goals, special events, holidays and stocking needs.
  • Assist in developing merchandising strategies to complement product availability, marketing campaigns and promotions.
  • Monitor customer demand and industry trends to recommend new promotion and merchandising opportunities.
  • Monitor, analyze, and implement site search improvements such as sorting rules, keyword matching, term optimization and result displays to create an intuitive customer search experience.
  • Leverage analytics and reporting tools such as GA4 to help drive web conversions through accurate and effective merchandising.
  • Assist in implementing promotions, working cross-functionally to ensure a smooth rollout across brands.
  • Work closely with Digital Marketing team peers to recommend tactics which align with the success of campaigns and website performance goals.
Skills Required:
  • Proactive; should be self-motivated, goal-oriented, quality-driven and capable of working with cross-functionally internally and with external vendors.
  • Strong analytical skills, with familiarity with discount structures and ability to calculate margin, evaluate costs and assemble a simple campaign profitability analysis.
  • Highly organized with ability to balance multiple projects at once.
Experience Required:
  • Experience using and interpreting data from reporting and insight tools such as site analytics, email service providers, and more to assess campaign success and create recommendations for future campaigns.
  • Proven experience building effective merchandising campaigns, and pricing structures.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising or related field.
  • Experience and comfort using Searchspring platform for merchandising results.E
  • At least 3 years of ecommerce marketing experience required.
