The Ecommerce Merchandiser will be accountable for daily operations of merchandising and translating analytical insights into action while enhancing the overall guest experience. This person will oversee the offline to online product lifecycle process, identify opportunities, analyze competition, and recommend new concepts to drive sales, conversion, site productivity and improve our customer's digital experience. They will work closely with the sales and brand teams to optimize online merchandising sales and communicate online customer trends. The role will report into and assist the VP of Direct to Consumer in executing goals and managing cross departmental projects. This is a full-time position.
What you'll be doing:
- Partner with cross functional teams to optimize online categories for sales, conversion and brand awareness.
- Analyze competitor websites to ensure industry alignment with categorization, promotions, trends and best practices.
- Visually merchandise category/collection pages to ensure products are displayed in correct order to optimize conversion.
- Ideate and execute A/B testing to enhance the customer experience online and increase conversion rates.
- Analyze sales and web analytics on a quarterly, monthly, weekly and adhoc basis.
- Develop and recommend changes to online category strategy based on customer and competitor insights, brand strategies, analysis of KPIs and promotions.
- Effectively manage the presentation of the online assortment, including product information, category information and website merchandising to influence sales and conversion, while balancing marketing initiatives and brand focus.
- Assist with on-site execution of all marketing initiatives as well as with the ideation and execution of marketing calendar.
- Manage and organize all product assets for use on the website.
- Manage additional ad hoc projects as requested.
- Responsible for executing, maintaining, and improving the cross functional online product lifecycle process.
- Provide weekly in-depth reporting and insights to cross functional teams inclusive of customer journeys, product and category level KPIs, on site search, etc.
- Performs other tasks as assigned.
- QA site, monitor and repair QC issues on site and keep the team updated on any site enhancement/repair issues that arise.

- Experience working with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrable experience using Shopify
- Possesses a collaborative mindset, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to deal effectively with diverse individuals at all organizational levels
- Adaptable: Learns quickly, relentlessly curious, takes risks & experiments, enjoys the challenge of the unfamiliar, deals well with ambiguity
- Problem solver: Uses facts and logic to find solutions.
- Experience bringing customer-facing ecommerce or omnichannel products to life.
- Time management: Knows how to prioritize effectively to spend time on what is important and will drive the business.
- 3 + years of experience as a site merchandiser for an online retailer
- Bachelors degree in a related field
- Business and Financial Acumen; analytical and process-oriented to make data-driven decisions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the toy industry
- Experience using Salisfy a plus
- Multilingual a plus
- SEO experience
- Experience in a global company
What We Offer:
Salary range for this position: $72,680 - $103,155/Yr. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. The successful candidate may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award.
