- Travel domestically 20-25% of the work-time during peak recruiting seasons.
- Ensure all hiring policies and procedures are adhered to and that “best practice” recruitment guidelines are administered throughout the recruitment process.
- Serve as primary resource for candidates throughout the recruiting process – be able to market the Firm, answer questions, communicate status.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
- Manage summer intern and/or full-time programs including onboarding, training, events, appraisal process and offers.
- Coach and train new recruits, and assume informal/formal leadership roles within team.
- Secure coverage for and attend campus and in-house events.
- Work with school teams to create on-campus strategy at assigned target schools. Coordination of all on-campus and in-house activities for schools including company presentations, office visits, networking events, and interviews.
- Facilitate feedback to key stakeholders to ensure timely production of appropriate documentation and approval.
- Ownership of data related to online applicant tracking system, workforce planning, diversity statistics and related reporting as requested.
- Ensure all hiring policies and procedures are adhered to and that “best practice” recruitment guidelines are administered throughout the recruitment process.
- Manage relationships with key contacts at career centers.
- Assist in the development and support of a robust diversity recruiting strategy.
- Strong project management, creative problem-solving skills and ability to act independently.
- Intellectual curiosity and a desire to learn about financial services and talent development.
- Ability to source talent through social media channels and other networking activities.
- Flexibility for travel and to work evening hours as needed during peak seasons.
- Strong technical skills, including significant experience using Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills, work ethic, initiative, sense of urgency and attention to detail.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience (i.e., campus recruiting, event planning, other HR experience).
- Strong relationship and client management skillset required.
- Ability to prioritize as needed while handling multiple time-sensitive projects in a very fast-paced environment.
- Desire to be in a service-oriented environment with enthusiasm and high level of interest in Recruiting and Program Management.
- Team player with flexibility to accommodate different personalities and work styles as well as confidence to manage interactions and expectations at all levels of the organization.
- Effective writing and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
