Kindred Fare - A Spirited Cookery is a full-service restaurant located in the heart of the Finger Lakes with a focus on scratch cookery using seasonal & local ingredients. We have a strong beverage focus with cool climate wine & spirits & are highly engaged in the local industry. On Monday nights our culinary team works together to build a three-course themed prix fixe, something our community looks forward to each week. Assistant Manager

We are currently looking for an experienced, passionate, & loyal bartender to join our growing & inspired beverage program.

What We Expect From You

• To be proactive monitoring of liquor, beer & wine stock rotation & par levels
• Strong customer service skills
• Understanding of beverage inventory & cost control
• To maintain a clean and organized station
• General bar equipment knowledge & maintenance
• Be a professional: remain composed - you are at the center of the restaurant and “on stage” at all times
• Advanced cocktail ingredient, recipe & cocktail development skills
• To stay current & creative with beverage & hospitality trends
• Extensive bartending & serving experience - high-end & high-volume setting preferred
• Advanced wordly & regional wine, beer & cocktail recipe knowledge
• Effective communication & team work - you need to be able to work with our bar director, other bartenders, and all service staff all while communicating with the kitchen and guests
• Strong organizational & prioritization skills
• Strong cocktail making & wine service skills
• Full-time or part-time availability & willingness to be flexible with our team as needed
