Job Description
Job Location: Anywhere in the United States. This role is eligible for work-from-home status. Most of current Corridor staff work remotely, from their homes. Must be available to work within client’s time zone, if needed.
Position Summary: Depending on competency and project acceptance, is responsible to provide record reviews for either coding/OASIS accuracy, compliance with CoPs, pre-bill accuracy and/or ADR support. The CDA Reviewer III serves as an expert resource to the CDA team and clients as identified per project. The employee may be requested to provide expert analysis to clients so must maintain current and up-to-date knowledge. The employee must be able to function with a high degree of independence and considerable discretion.

Depending on an individual’s competency, to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform at least one or more of the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned.
  • Perform Pre-Billing reviews of clinical and technical items
  • Provide analysis of clinical and/or financial trends per client request
  • Provide home health and/or hospice compliance review to ensure survey readiness, per client request
  • Perform Additional Documentation Request support
  • Perform compliance and/or regulatory review
Other key requirements of this role:
  • Maintain proficiency/knowledge of home health and/or hospice guidelines
  • Must be able to meet deadlines
  • Flexibility with schedule
  • May be asked to work on additional projects
  • Maintain proficiency/knowledge of OASIS Data set items, home care reimbursement, and compliance as related to OASIS regulations and requirements, depending on their competency
  • May be required to attend mandatory scheduled meetings/trainings despite flexible work schedule.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills for findings and discussions with clinicians
  • Effectively communicate and follow up with clients
  • Conduct other clinical record audits as assigned
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of software systems utilized by various agencies
  • Prepare reports as requested
  • Must have strong computer skills
  • Must be up to date on coding/OASIS guidance and/or compliance survey information depending on their background and competency
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education/Experience:
Must have 3-4 years home care experience and 2 years of experience in diagnosis coding of home care records and reviewing OASIS assessments. 4+ years supervisory or management level experience in home health and/or hospice environment, strong knowledge of regulation/guidance with ability to differentiate client preference. Experience in consulting or service industry preferred; experience with multiple EMRs preferred.
Certificates and Licenses: If providing coding/OASIS review, must hold current coding certification; HCS-D or BCHH-C; COS-C or HCS-O; Clinical (RN, PT, OT, ST) license, 3-5 years home health operations/management experience; maintain home health or hospice credential.
Computer Skills:
Proficiency with a variety of computer software and applications, including Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
