Job Description
As a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Lead with Convera based in US or Canada, you will be responsible for embedding and delivering key initiatives across all aspects of our employee experience, strengthening the sense of community, belonging, and ultimately leading the way in making positive and impactful change at Convera.
As an agent of change and a key part of the Employee Engagement Team, you will help drive a cultural evolution across Convera, partner with the wider People organization, and be a strategic partner to business teams and Executive Leaders.
You will be responsible for:
  • With our Head of Employee Engagement, developing a 2 year roadmap on how the DEI strategy will be achieved. Develop strategic DEI initiatives that align with our culture, values and overall business objectives, providing actionable recommendations.
  • Partnering with the Talent Development team, lead education programs for the business, ensuring ongoing and progressive learning of DEI content.
  • Working closely with the Analytics Team and immerse yourself in working with data. Report on progress toward goals to drive measurable outcomes, both internally and externally. Prepare and deliver relevant reports about DEI that help us assess where we are and track improvement.
  • Collaborating with the Talent Recruitment team to integrate and embed DEI best practices in recruiting processes, candidate sourcing and interview practices.
  • Engaging and partnering with various teams across Convera, helping them define specific DEI priorities and targets.
  • Designing and championing initiatives that support the integration of DEI into all aspects of the employee experience and talent process lifecycle.

You should apply if you have:
  • Demonstrates a track record of development and execution of a DE&I strategy with impact driven results
  • Demonstrated track record of success in a cross functional, highly matrixed environment.
  • Experience within high growth / fast paced company, a strong global mindset and knowledge of global diversity is preferred.
  • Engaged in matters that require sensitivity and empathy across a diverse community, and an ability to build relationships and influence key partners and get results through collaboration.
  • An understanding of global DEI challenges, best practices, trends and legislation in different geographies and cultures.
  • A change agent that understands that progress is not always achieved using a predetermined path or model. This role requires confidence, creativity, persistence and high level of influence to achieve our goals.
  • Experience of working with global and local stakeholder groups (internally and externally) and influencing at the highest levels of the organization.
  • The ability to self-start and comfortable with a high degree of ambiguity. You don’t wait for direction from others, instead creating your own vision for the future and building buy-in with key stakeholders, partners, and team members to bring it to life.
  • Excellent program and project management skills, with a clear focus on delivery and ability to manage multiple projects. We are a very hands-on team!
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to translate key insights and trends into actionable plans.
  • Extensive experience working within the DEI space in a fast-paced organization, preferably in Technology or Financial Services sector.
  • Typically requires a minimum 8+ yrs in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and/or organizational development and/or Human Resources.
