- Manage key projects, communications, track strategic initiatives, and prepare for key events and engagements.
- Lead the review, development, implementation and evaluation of CSU Health Network policies and practices to enhance inclusivity and remove any barriers to accessing and/or use of programs, services and prevention efforts for students from marginalized identity groups.
- Provide administrative expertise and oversight in the strategic planning process, execution and evaluation of organizational DEIJ initiatives.
- Develop and implement assessments to evaluate current level of staff and organizational cultural competency and develop matrices to improve overall competencies.
- Assist in reviewing, developing, implementing and evaluating recruitment and retention efforts related to diverse staff in collaboration with CSU efforts.
- Chair the Diversity Committee. This committee will be responsible for continual assessment and recommendation of strategies through which the Health Network can enhance DEIJ efforts.
- Represent CSU at regional and national conferences as funding allows.
- Participate on other appropriate Health Network committees including the Professional Development, Leadership Team, Accreditation, and Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement committees.
- Participate on appropriate Divisional and/or University committees that relate to this role, including the Division of Student Affairs committee on inclusive excellence.
- Coordinate Counseling Services liaison efforts to Student Diversity and Program Services and other areas.
- Deliver instructional course material via multi-media teaching techniques in relevant subject areas in prescribed delivery format.
- Provide consultation to CSU Health Network staff that coordinate medical, mental health and well-being programs, services and support resources awareness with campus partners that serve marginalized populations.

- Collaborate with offices, organizations, and student groups that engage in DEIJ efforts. Assist in the development of outreach programming and joint educational efforts with these partners, with point of focus being the engagement of student populations that may access CSU Health Network programs, services and prevention efforts at lower-than-expected frequencies.
- Work to foster and nurture an inclusive workplace environment that fulfills the CSU Health Networks strategic goals.
- Elevate thought leadership position of CSU Health Network on DEIJ .
- Coordinate and support related strategic initiatives while also improving the operational efficiency and effectiveness of the organization.
- Provide expertise and advice to CSU Health Networks leadership, staff, and students on issues related to diversity, inclusion, and equity.

- Play an important part in developing strategic diversity and inclusion planning goals that align with the CSU Health Networks overall strategic plan. Develop long-term and short-term goals and partner with others to operationalize goals.
