Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a field of study related to the work assignment
  • Or additional appropriate education (e.g. MA degree) will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
  • And three (3) years of professional experience working directly in developing and facilitating Equity, Diversity and Inclusion training content to complex organizations.

Job description:

The purpose of this position is to oversee day-to-day operations, design EDI training resources, activities, opportunities, and coaching for top-level leadership, EDI committees and champions, counties, and external partners, in aligning EDI strategies with state and organizational objectives. In coordination with the Director of Policy and Practice, the role leads the Department in design, delivery, and evaluation of EDI training for the Senior Executive Team, all employees across the state, counties, external partners, vendors, and communities we serve.

Some of the responsibilities include:

  • Manage user experience across the EDI training module and activities.
  • Assess training needs and adapts to learning research, theories, needs, opportunities, and trends.

Subject matter expert in EDI, providing ongoing support and proactive learning opportunities for leadership and staff across CDHS and external partners.

  • Performs data management and analysis through assessment and evaluation of EDI training and learning activities.
  • Collaborates with other state agencies and DPA to support training development, troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Coordinate, design, facilitate, update, and disseminate learning opportunities that are varied and accessible

This position has remote/hybrid work arrangements, but will be required to come into the office at least 2 days a week starting in September.

Community Partnerships provides support and leadership within the Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS) related to all partners, including Offices, Divisions, units, other state agencies, counties, community organizations, and constituents. The unit is located in the Executive Director’s Office (EDO).
