Job Description

We're partnering with a rapidly expanding renewable energy company in their search for an Originator, at a Senior Manager to VP level. This person will play a key role in the development team during an exciting period of high growth and process transformation. The ideal candidate will be self starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a strong working knowledge of renewable power markets and a background working with utility-scale projects.


About the Role:

  • Industry: Renewable Energy
  • Location: NYC Metropolitan Area (open to remote candidates)
  • Duration: Full-Time


Candidates must have prior experience working in the renewable energy industry.


Responsibilities:

  • Act as a quarterback for all development work, doing outreach to landowners (lots of cross collaboration with the project development team).
  • Reach out to utility customers to sign contracts.
  • Book projects, have direct conversations with utilities, respond to RFPs, and more.
  • Drive relationships and take on large deal flow.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's in Business, Engineering, or other relevant field.
  • 5+ years of experience in origination and/or project development working with utility-scale renewable energy projects.
  • Must understand the energy markets and the full life-cycle development of projects in the space.
