Director FX Sales Americas, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, New York, NY:
Service and develop real money, hedge fund, private equity, corporate and central bank accounts in the Americas market in conjunction with Relationship Management team. Responsible for relationship management of acquired and existing FX clients in North, Central and South America. Lead the provision of commentary on the FX markets to our Americas clientele, provide pricing services in relation to client need and bank procedures. Conduct deal documentation, perform limits checks, supply deal authorization and conduct trade booking based on structure and derivative. Appropriately price client trades using third party and proprietary systems. Leverage proprietary systems to take into account credit risk and funding valuation adjusts necessary to meet return rates on transactions beyond trader supplied market pricing. Manage the development of a cross product approach for all GM products, including deposits, fixed income, commodities and rates. Manage effective communication and cooperation with the global sales network. Responsible for the delivery of the sales and service culture for FX Sales in New York. Responsible for adhering to the relationship pathways for the FX client base (e.g., Documentation, On-Boarding / KYC, Credit and Research). Determine client product needs by understanding client business strategies. Administer, price and book World Markets Reuters (WMR) fix orders in line with specific bank policies and procedures. Apply leadership and/or team membership behavior consistent with the Bank’s people principles. Adhere to policy, control, compliance and risk measurement systems and protocols. Plan and execute risk mitigating procedures. Maintain and service own client portfolio and backup other sales peoples’ portfolios by developing and presenting strategic foreign exchange solutions to clients. Must be fluent in Spanish and French to cover Latin American central banks and Canadian pension fund community. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days/week.
Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week. Offered Salary: $270,000 - $322,000 per year.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field plus 8 years of experience in investment banking. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, employer will accept
an additional 2 years of work experience in investment banking.
Of the required experience, must have 5 years of experience in each of the following:

• Selling and pricing deposit products;
• Financial services and Global Markets products, including pricing of FX and FX derivatives such as swaps, options and other structures;
• Unwinding and appropriately discounting close out transactions; and
• World Markets Reuters (WMR) order management;
• Analyzing and identifying corporate, central bank, real money, hedge fund and private equity; foreign exchange risk and executing hedging programs;
• E-delivery of FX pricing to clients.
• Performing capital costs calculations to identify the appropriate Credit Valuation Adjustment in relation to pricing client transactions;
• National Futures Association (NFA) trade booking requirements for timeliness of trade reporting;
• Utilizing the following tools and systems: Murex, Wall Street Systems, Barracuda OMS, FX All Treasury Centre, Broadway, FX Connect, Bloomberg, 360T, Harmony/Creditlink, Salesforce, Street Contxt, and Tableau;

Must be fluent in Spanish and French.
Up to 15% domestic and 15% international travel required.
Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days/week.
