Job Description

VP of HR


My direct client, a provider of Facilities Services (Commercial Building Services) including building maintenance, security services, restoration, courier services, electrical, commercial flooring and commercial painting is looking for a talentedVP of HR


Permanent (full time) position with excellent compensation package, bonus and benefits (200K base DOE).


Location:New York City (Midtown West)

  • Own and develop all Human Resource programs and policies for company’s employees including, recruiting, onboarding, compensation and benefits, and employee relations
  • Mentor, coach, and develop the members of the HR and Talent Acquisition teams.
  • Maintain knowledge of federal, state and local union and labor laws, regulations, and best practices in employment law and ensureall procedures comply with legal regulations, especially for the state of New York.
  • Experience hiring and supporting hourly population in environments such as laborers, maintenance and security guards.
  • Draft and implementthe organization’s staffing budget, and the expense budget for the human resource department.
  • 10+ years of human resources experience, with a minimum of 4 years in a management capacity advising and influencing business partners
  • Maintain knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in employment law, human resources, and talent management.
  • Oversee the HR and Talent Acquisition teams and monitor progress and ability to keep up with the needs of the business, both internally and externally

Bachelor’s Degree and HR Certification (PHR or SPHR) preferred
