The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $125,000-$225,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
Tasks and Qualifications:
This is What You Will do in This Role:
  • Development, management und enhancement of procurement processes and close corporation with procurement teams and other teams
  • Product owner for specific sustainability software: EcoVadis, IntegrityNext, Assent
  • Responsible for sustainability reports and audits with regards to Procurement
  • Contact person for procurement and all other relevant departments such as Quality, R&D, with regards to implementation and managing of sustainability activities with supplier focus
  • Support in the implementation and coordination of KION´s sustainability strategy with regards to suppliers of the KION Group
  • Development, management and support of global supplier risk management and supplier assessments (EcoVadis, IntegrityNext)
  • Implementation of the specific data systems, dashboards for reporting
  • Training on Sustainability topics internal and external
  • Support in the implementation of the sustainability activities/ remedial actions/ prevention actions on supplier side and focus US
  • Coordination of sustainability campaigns with suppliers for KION globally, focus US
  • Support in the development of a sustainable supplier network within KION
  • Transfer of KION´s sustainability strategy and its target into business cases and business campaigns on Procurement side, such as Carbon Footprint, Cradle to Cradle, Circularity
  • Advocate for sustainable procurement for internal and external stakeholder
What We are Looking For:
  • Experiences in Sustainability Work, preferable in companies
  • Strong communication skills as well as cultural awareness
  • Strong understanding of data reading and working with data, analyzing data
  • Problem solving attitude, hands-on, high self-motivation and initiative
  • Experiences in Procurement or Supply Chain preferable
  • Bachelor/Masters degree (or equivalent) in Sustainability, Economy, Logistics or Compliance
  • Experienced in MS-Outlook, Excel, Word as well as in PowerBi (preferable)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Teamplayer
