Who We Are Looking For


Reporting to the Vice President of Product Strategy and Innovation, the Director of Warehouse is responsible for the creating and scaling Fooda’s Commissary business. This leader will need to be able to manage both the operations of this business as well as drive the growth strategy. As the leader of this business within Fooda you will be responsible for recruiting and managing assigned resources, creating & managing a budget, and achieving measurable revenue & profitability results.


As The Ideal Candidate, You


  • Possess an entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to propose new directions for the execution of the Commissary business.
  • Act as a forward-thinking analyst of the business, broader market, and the competitive landscape
  • Possess strong presentation skills in large audience settings, this role needs to be able to evangelize and promote the Commissary product to internal and external audiences.
  • Demonstrate excellence in implementing rigorous and disciplined performance measures / metrics that benchmark performance and create accountability. You are confident working with data to analyze how best practices should be developed.
  • Own full life cycle of business: ownership of successful pilots to national deployment and scale.
  • Strong operator with confidence to manage multiple aspects of the business: hiring, training, scheduling, operations, customer service, and admin


What You Will Be Doing
  • Partnering with the President, CEO and EVP of Sales on how to successfully grow and adapt the Commissary business.
  • Recruiting your team and managing the day-to-day operations of Commissary.
  • Collaborating with internal teams/departments to support the growth of the Commissary business.
  • Building a business. Leading the development of our Commissary business and driving decision-making that leads to sustainable growth
  • Driving a growth strategy
  • Working closely with our Restaurant partners and Client to develop product market fit for both stakeholders.


Who You Are


  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a team environment
  • Experience in both operations and growth/sales.
  • Strong desire for customer satisfaction
  • Proven ability to think and act both strategically and tactically
  • Comfortable in a high growth and constantly evolving business where timelines and priorities can shift quickly
  • 6+ years of experience of P&L management
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
