Job Description

Growth & Development Director (Sales Director)


We are looking for a dynamic and driven Director of Growth and Development who will plan and lead the company's sales, growth and expansion initiatives. This leader will help the company plan and execute an expansion strategy in Arizona, Nevada, and New Mexico. This individual will lead the business development team in expanding the Company’s portfolio.


Top Job Responsibilities:


  • Consults with potential customers to understand their needs; identifies and suggests equipment, products, or services that will meet those needs.
  • Identifies and analyzes customer preferences to properly direct sales efforts.
  • Reviews and analyzes sales and operational reports; use data to project sales, determine profitability and targets, and identify potential new markets and penetration rates.
  • Acts as company representative at trade association meetings, local functions.
  • Setup a sales operation from the ground up to include compensation, hiring, budgeting, strategy.
  • Establish processes for sales cycle from discovery to close.
  • Reviews reports and data to identify key performance indicators.
  • Resolves customer complaints, staffing problems, and other issues that may interfere with efficient sales operations.
  • Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and have a clear understanding of the financial impact of decisions on the profitability of the proposed initiatives.
  • Collaborates with executive leadership to develop sales quotas and strategies.


Qualifications:

  • Experience hiring, training, and developing sales reps required.
  • 10+ years sales leadership experience with relevant consumer/residential sales model, telecommunications industry preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to travel throughout the Mohave and La Paz counties in AZ as required.
  • Experience in sales operation from the ground up in their career highly preferred.
  • Experience leading through a structured sales metrics and key performance indicators (KPI's) required.
  • Experience with marketing, public relations, and community development in support of the sales function preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Sales Management software.
  • Sales to households experience (opposed to individual sales).
  • Understanding of customer base in rural or semi rural environments.


Compensation will be comprised of base + Bonus/Commission + Equity
