POSITION / TITLE: Director of Product - IT Assist
The Director of Product - IT Assist is responsible for the growth of business in our Human Resources vertical. You need to develop overall product vision and connect the customer pain points with our solutions and platform. In addition, the Director of Product owns the P&L goals for his/her vertical specific solutions. As the leader of this verticals, you must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy with the ability to drive vision and mission to reality. You must gain quick understanding of the customer problems and quickly develop innovative solutions for the broader market.
Responsibilities:
- Own and Drive the P&L of IT Assist solution
- Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact
- Ensure product documentation is up-to-date and accurate.
- Readiness to travel for short/long durations within North America and outside
- Develop customer use cases, personas and scenarios and present solutions to clients
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Customer Support, to deliver successful products.
- Resolve day to day queries from development team based on knowledge of customer business
- Lead product development efforts from ideation to launch.
- Define product features and functionality and prioritize product roadmap
- Keep up to date with industry trends and advancements in various platforms that will need to be integrated with the solution.
- Work with Engineering teams to define product specifications and requirements.
- Provide input to QA for creation of test plans and certification criteria. Assist and certify the UAT
- Ensure demonstration platforms are up to date and relevant to customer requirements
Requirements:
- Good knowledge and understanding of software development and web technologies including JSON/XML and AI/ML, NLP required
- Managing communications and expectations with customers, sales and engineering teams
- Previous professional experience with full lifecycle product lifecycle management required
- Ability to manage in a very fast paced environment with multiple high-level priorities
- Previous selling & consulting with various IT industry personas including CIO, VP IT, VP Technologist, etc required
- Previous experiencing managing teams of people required
- Minimum 12+ years’ experience in defining and managing core products or business applications through product management required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in conducting workshops, consulting sessions for customers
- Skilled in creating presentations and presenting to various levels within the organization and to customers
- Minimum 10+ years’ experience working with selling & deploying of multiple IT self-service tools
- Previous experience managing P/L required
- Experience in configuring products based on customer requirements
- Enthusiastic, sees problems as opportunities, and proactively develops knowledge and skills needed
Nice to Have
- Experience of working with teams across locations and time-zones
- Technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development
- Knowledge of project management tools, such as Jira
- Experience of working with teams across locations and time-zones in global delivery model
- Practical knowledge of agile/iterative development process preferred
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Computer Sciences and/or MBA preferred
Depending on specific professional experience and geographical location of individuals, the salary for this position ranges from $185,000 - $200,000. Additional wage/bonus/commission and benefit details will be shared during the formal interview process for this full-time employment opportunity.
