Purpose of this Role


Belle is hiring a Director of People Operations to design and oversee the talent acquisition and learning & delivery programs for our most crucial role - the Belle Technician. The perfect candidate has a passion for bringing order, systems and analytics to a complex, fast-paced function.


Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Demand & Regional Managers (RMs) to prioritize hiring needs
  • Curate a positive initial impression
  • Implement standardized, innovative interview techniques and assessments to identify best-fit candidates
  • Ongoing education to cultivate BT mastery & bonus optimization
  • Wow candidates with the company, role and opportunity
  • 1-week onboarding & shadowing
  • Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies that:
  • Create a comprehensive program, transforming new hires into Belle experts
  • Learning and delivery
  • Enable effective reporting and analytics
  • The four major L&D components include:
  • Develop a singular KPI that indicates an RM’s recruiting effectiveness
  • Rationalize recruiting spend
  • Determine necessary learning infrastructure (e.g. learning management software (LMS), study guides, knowledge assessments)
  • Create standardization
  • Talent acquisition
  • Optimize the hiring manager experience
  • Design and develop a scalable learning program, which instills skills and behaviors that directly create value for Belle and/or (health plan) clients
  • Achieve average fill rate of < 14 days
  • Quality Assurance: how RMs conduct quality control
  • Systemic interventions: design and monitor performance (e.g., how and when RMs intervene on poor performance)
  • Continuously track and analyze recruitment pipeline and metrics to assess effectiveness and drive improvements
  • Oversee and enhance the onboarding journey for new Belle Technicians, ensuring a seamless and meticulously curated experience from recruitment through the first 90 days of employment
  • Develop and curate a diverse range of training programs, workshops, and e-learning modules that cater to the development needs of BTs
  • Represent Belle’s brand
  • Implement KPIs and a simple BT comp structure that reflect value creation
  • Implement tools/processes to:
  • Achieve Belle KPIs (e.g., time to fill, first 90-day retention)
Experience, Skills & Personality
  • Comfortable being a thought leader, but also an individual contributor
  • Minimum of 5 years experience scaling systems and processes in high growth environments
  • Experience with a distributed and/or service-level workforce preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in scaling and building a Talent Acquisition team
  • Strong technical proficiency with computers, google suite, digital platforms
  • Comfortable with 30%+ travel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Experience implementing LMS & ATS
  • Excited and comfortable joining a high growth, fast-changing team
  • Systematic thinker and operations-minded
  • Minimum of 5 years experience with instructional design
