Director of Operations


Job Type: Full-time


Location: Hybrid (80% remote, 20% in-person 1-2 days per week) within Salinas and Monterey County, California


Pay Range: $85k - $130k

THE ROLE


As a Director of Operations, you will manage and coordinate the field operations team to ensure the training of quality coaches for the successful implementation of Elevo’s programs through your region and maintain positive relationships with staff and the community.


  • Devise strategies to ensure the success of programs by identifying and implementing process improvements.
  • Meet with the leadership team to plan short and long-term performance targets and track progress.
  • Develop, implement, analyze, and monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes that provide visibility into goals, progress, and obstacles for our key initiatives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Operations Managers, Sales team members, and district partners to make decisions regarding operational activity.
  • Work closely with cross-functional departments (sales, recruitment, field operations) to plan program launches, and ensure the team is producing deliverables on time.
  • Customer service and quality control: ensure the team is following each touchpoint of the customer service journey, meeting with school and district leadership, and responding to customer feedback.


Position Requirements


  • Masterful organizational, communication, and leadership skills, demonstrated by previous professional success
  • 5+ years of working experience in program supervision
  • Experience with budget and business plan development

  • Ability to create and execute staff recruitment plans in line with strategic goals
  • Strong administrative skills, including the ability to interpret statistical information and prepare reports.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence in connecting with education faculty and staff
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work towards meeting multiple deadlines simultaneously


The target annual base pay range for this position is x - x. Final pay determinations may depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience level, education, geographical location, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
