About the role
CrunchTime’s Operations Excellence solutions support food service operators at scale to optimize their customer experience while managing profitability across their business. CrunchTime’s Temperature Monitoring solution provides our customers with real time temperature data for critical equipment ensuring compliance for food safety and minimizing the organizational and financial impact to equipment failure. CrunchTime is looking for a driven and inspiring leader to elevate the fulfillment operations while maintaining and expanding our vendor relationships.
What you’ll do as a Director of Logistics and Vendor Management
- Partner with Sales and Executive Leadership to align on forecasting to ensure hardware supply is in line with company growth objectives and opportunities
- Lead negotiation and reviewing of vendor contracts and hardware statements of work.
- Lead fulfillment center management to optimize fulfillment workflows, operational practices, and vendor workflows while continuing to deliver industry leading customer (internal and external) experience through fulfillment of hardware for various Crunchtime products
- Hold vendors accountable to program standards on delivery times, competitive pricing, warranty processes, etc
- Develop and retain a logistics team by fostering a culture of growth, learning, open feedback and mentality to win.
- Partner with Customer Experience to align and improve on ideal warranty exchange process, implementation best practices, support troubleshooting, etc
- Partner with product management to define requirements for existing and new hardware vendors in alignment with company strategy.
What we’re looking for
- 2+ years experience supporting supply chain optimization and management
- Demonstrated ability to achieve results and solve complex problems
- Must be authorized to work in the US
- Ability to quickly establish oneself as a trusted advisor to Crunchtime’s vendors, customers and employees
- Demonstrated ability to coach and develop team members while influencing towards a common goal
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- 5+ years of senior leadership experience in vendor management, logistics, warehouse, procurement or a field that is similar
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills demonstrated through strength in negotiation
- Process orientation that demonstrates ability to analyze, design, and build complex processes
