Director Of Learning And Development

If you are a Learning and Development leader, experienced in leading a team, optimizing and leveraging technology, and scaling for future growth, then this role might be for you!

Our client, a well-established, reputable Philadelphia based business, is seeking their next Director of Learning and Development. A recent strategy shift, due in large part to growth and expansion, is causing the need for a new leader.

Focus areas for the first six months in this role include:

• Assessing current team structure and ensuring the right talent is in place to revise training to align with strategy and structure.
• Ensuring a plan is created and implemented to cover new areas of the business and geography due to expected growth.
• Potential consolidation and leveraging of technologies to accomplish the above.
• Creating process and structure to position the function as true strategic partners, including leveraging tools and processes.

Ongoing leadership skills needed in the following areas:

• Leading a team of 6 of onsite as well as remote facilitators, supporting an organization of approximately 800 employees.
• Leading and overseeing the strategic planning, design, implementation and evaluation of all learning and development and change management initiatives.
• Identifying and assessing needs of each functional area and ensuring the team is responding appropriately and effectively to those needs.
