Learning & Development Manager Jobs

Based out of our HQ in Center City Philadelphia and reporting to our Director of Learning and Development, in this role, you should be enthusiastic about helping people learn, grow, and have excellent communication skills. You should be comfortable facilitating learning and presenting in front of various sized audiences. Experience designing e-learning courses is a plus. We want you to dream big, while you help our company succeed by training and developing its people.

• Initiate and manage learning strategies and programs.

• Provide administrative support for Learning Management System (LMS).
• Partner with leaders to assist in the development of their team members through career pathing.
• Evaluate effectiveness of programs, workshops, and materials. Perform end-to-end quality checks on learning materials/content, to ensure accuracy and alignment with company compliance standards.

• Assist in the training and support of District Trainers.
• Ensure all materials are accurate, current, and maintained to standard operating procedures.
• Participate in special projects as assigned, as business needs arise.
• Select or develop learning solutions utilizing appropriate methodologies from instructor led to self-directed learning which may include one or more of the following: content curation, lesson plans for classroom training and virtual training delivery, computer-based training including rapid design, reference materials, job aids, etc.
• Travel approximately 10%.
• Design and deliver e-learning courses, workshops, and other training.

Desired Skills And Experience

• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal) and exemplary negotiation skills; sharp business acumen.
• Creative, energetic, motivated and results oriented, with a strong sense of urgency and self-motivation.
• Ability to build content that is creative and engaging.
• A minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a L&D Manager, Training Manager, or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Experience in project management and budgeting.
• Bachelor's degree in business, instructional design, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices.
• Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods.
• Ability to build partnerships and establish rapport with employees at all levels of the organization as well as vendors.
