Director Of Content Jobs

The Role

As the Director of Content you will be accountable to deliver content that is engaging, meet KPI’s, metrics and drive revenue through content. We are looking for an experienced manager of people, someone that can inspire others, taking our creative team to a new level as we continue to grow.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead a team of writers, journalists, editors, videography, social media and SEO specialists, to create engaging content for the company's target audience

• Create, execute and measure a comprehensive content strategy and plan

• Identify and meet benchmarks for the performance of our content across multiple platforms

• Strategize and manage new product lines, industry verticals and new platforms. In addition to the Solar and Roofing industries, this position will assist in the ideation, execution, analysis and progression of creative content development across all genres of home renovation.

• Reporting to the CEO on key metrics including traffic, leads, articles, videos and social media content produced, status of hiring and planned further expansions

• Evaluating potential opportunities for partnerships with other businesses or organizations that would provide mutual benefit to both parties

• Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned

Requirements

• A suitable candidate will have had experience of 8-10 years working in a senior role with demonstrated ability to drive results

• They must also possess strong leadership skills if they are to lead the content team to successful completion of its objectives

• Bachelors degree business, marketing, journalism or relevant field

• Exceptional organizational, analytical and communication skills

• Strong understanding of content strategy development

• Detailed knowledge of current online tools and marketing trends, including SEO

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

This is a Full time position and we encourage applicants from all US states to apply. Base compensation for this role will be $200k to $230k annually depending on skills and experience plus performance based bonus.
