The Opportunity:
We're seeking a highly motivated Director to oversee all sales, marketing, and lead generation functions while also playing a key role in shaping the company's future. You'll work closely with the CEO & COO to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies that drive new team and event partnerships. As part of a small startup team, you'll have the unique opportunity to lead cross-functional projects, requiring a breadth of creative, analytical, and leadership skills.
What You'll Bring:
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage high-performing sales teams
- Exceptional problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities
- Experience with account-based marketing (ABM) strategies and tactics
- High agency and ability to take ownership of projects and drive results
- Proven track record of closing complex deals with large accounts
- 5+ years of experience in B2B sales; software or sports/live entertainment industry experience preferred
- Strong understanding of modern sales tools and technologies
What You'll Do:
- Contribute to cross-functional initiatives that drive the company's growth and success
- Manage the sales pipeline and forecasting processes to accurately predict revenue
- Identify and target potential team and event partners to drive software revenue growth
- Manage the annual sales and marketing plan, including communications, outreach, and event calendar
- Collaborate with the product team to prioritize high-value features and improve sales velocity
- Research market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions
- Develop and execute ABM strategies, lead generation campaigns, and sales presentations
- Build and maintain relationships with key partners, prospects, and stakeholders
Work Environment:
Hybrid work environment: 50% in-person (Bay Area, CA)/ 50% remote.
