Summary:

As the Global Procurement Director, you will be responsible for leading the procurement function across our organization and managing a team of procurement professionals. You will develop and execute the procurement strategy, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure that procurement activities are aligned with the organization's overall business objectives. You will also manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to secure the best possible prices, terms, and delivery schedules.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the procurement strategy for the organization, ensuring that it aligns with the company's overall business objectives

• Lead and manage a team of procurement professionals to ensure that procurement activities are executed effectively and efficiently

• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to secure the best possible prices, terms, and delivery schedules

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that procurement activities support the needs of the business

• Monitor and analyze procurement data to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities

• Develop and implement procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards

• Manage the procurement budget and report regularly to senior management on procurement activities and results

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in procurement and supply chain management

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in a leadership role

• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial organization is strongly preferred

• Demonstrated track record of delivering cost savings and process improvements through procurement initiatives

• Strong negotiation skills and experience managing supplier relationships

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management

• Ability to analyze and interpret complex data to make informed decisions

• Familiarity with procurement software and technology
