Senior Director - Global Procurement

A leading global LNG company is looking to bring on a Senior Director of Global Procurement to their exciting and growing team. You will play a pivotal role in our organization by leading both the indirect and direct procurement functions. You will be reporting directly into the executive leadership team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing procurement team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
• Establish strong supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance.
• Identify and implement process improvements and digital solutions to streamline procurement operations.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and ensure procurement aligns with organizational goals.
• Define, develop and execute procurement strategies to ensure cost-effectiveness, quality, and sustainability of materials and services.
• Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify potential opportunities and risks for the organization.
• Manage risk and compliance within the procurement function, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business Management
• 10+ Years in Procurement on both the indirect and direct side
• Highly knowledgeable within the LNG space
• Masters in Engineering, Supply Chain, or MBA preferred.
• Managerial experience with a minimum of 8 direct reports
