Act as a consultant to the leadership team, providing insights into manufacturing capabilities, constraints, and opportunities.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role within the (Food/Beverage or CPG industry, REQUIRED).

Proven experience managing external manufacturers and large-scale operations.

Exceptional leadership and communication skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.

Establish guidelines for approving purchase orders, set purchasing policies, manage inventory and budget for materials

Maintaining knowledge of the market, in addition to current prices and fair rates for goods

Extensive knowledge in procurement as it relates to large-scale steel construction projects or metal fabrication processes

Demonstrated knowledge in setting up costing templates and budgets within a range of software types

Advanced knowledge in corporate ERP

Strong leadership skills and the ability to direct others according to company standards

Minimum of 10+ years of experience in production management, preferably in a Consumer Packaging Goods environment.

Familiarity with new product introduction, management of change, and root cause investigation is beneficial.

Minimum of 15 years of procurement management experience in large, global organization growing at scale.

Designs and implements processes and policies around contracting, sourcing and vendor management.

Experience with sourcing in international regions.

Demonstrated understanding of procure to pay processes, including the process implementation and system requirements for purchase requisitions and purchase orders.

Broad experience in operating in a complex, and diverse business environment.

Knowledge and understanding of Coupa a plus.

Organizational management and experience building lean and agile teams

Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in life sciences or equivalent with fifteen (15) years of relevant experience

Master of Science (MS) Degree in life sciences or equivalent with twelve (12) years of relevant experience

PhD in life sciences or equivalent with ten (10) years of relevant experience

In-depth knowledge of financial systems (budgets, expenses, product standards and variances)

Prior experience with drug substance and drug product manufacturing, including aseptic operations and with managing external manufacturing operations.

Upstream, downstream, fill finish and plasmid manufacturing experience preferred. A subset of this experience can be considered.

A continuous improvement mindset, with prior experience managing performance objectives, monitoring and assessing results, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions.

Demonstrated project leadership skills with the ability to provide cross functional, and cross-company leadership of key initiatives.

Prior hands-on GMP operations experience, prior experience preparing for and executing manufacturing site regulatory inspections and regulatory filings.

Prior experience managing manufacturing of gene therapy products is strongly preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.

• Manage the procurement budget and report regularly to senior management on procurement activities and results

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in procurement and supply chain management

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred

• Strong negotiation skills and experience managing supplier relationships

• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to secure the best possible prices, terms, and delivery schedules

• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial organization is strongly preferred

8+ years of people management experience

Sourcing knowledge and experience preferred

10+ years of supply chain experience in a global, matrixed environment (Sourcing experience preferred)

Experience in consumer-packaged goods industry is preferred

Demonstrated experience driving positive results through large teams (20 people) in a challenging and fast-paced environment
