Job Description
The Director of Brand Marketing will develop, extend, and socialize Main Event's overarching brand strategy and positioning, ultimately delivering an actionable omni-channel integrated marketing calendar. The Director of Brand Marketing will also be responsible for partnering with all relevant business partners to ensure brand consistency across all marketing and communications.
Responsibilities:
  • Use 3rd party research, internal data, competitive intel along with internal business performance to develop and influence promo & pricing strategies and tactics to achieve business topline and bottom-line plans.
  • Proactively identify areas where pricing is not aligned to strategy / guidelines and recommend actions to course correct.
  • Partner closely with executive team and stakeholders to build campaigns/programs to attain all financial metrics and profitability goals.
  • Provide guidance for integration between channels to unify and maximize the customer experience across the customer decision journey (awareness, engagement, loyalty).
  • Promote guest centricity and ensures focus on creating great customer experiences to achieve our competitive advantage.
  • Drive cross-functional partnership with Marketing, Finance, IT, Operations, Amusements and Legal to ensure alignment on Price and Promo strategies and the execution of these strategies.
  • Be the glue that brings teams together to ensure key strategic initiatives achieve their full effect. Be a results-oriented, multi-tasker, driving cross-functional groups to decisions on strategically important questions.
  • Develop customer learning plans with the business partners to inform long range planning.
  • Build and drive implementation of omni-channel, integrated plans, specifically targeted toward delivering value.

  • 5+ years of marketing experience in a related industry

  • Strong personal initiative and ability to work independently.
  • Professional demeanor; works well with others.
