About The Role


Random Golf Club is a brand built on community and storytelling. Our Marketing team is the driving force behind how these two pillars come together to create meaningful connections and fuel our fast-growing apparel, partnerships and membership business. From setting marketing and channel strategy, to concepting and launching meaningful content and campaigns -- Marketing ideates, plans and executes nearly everything the RGC community sees and engages with.


We're on the search for a Director of Integrated Marketing to lead our Marketing team through the next phase of growth. Bringing both operational and strategic expertise, you’ll translate ambitious, strategic visions into customer-facing marketing campaigns and content. Ultimately, your mission is to make RGC the most enthusiastic and profitable community driven lifestyle brand on the internet and IRL.


What You'll Do


Reporting to the CEO, you’ll define and implement our marketing strategy across all channels (Instagram, Youtube, Podcast, email, events & community). You’ll fully own the marketing calendar, leveraging our talented Content & Creative teams to produce assets and optimizing the go to market strategy to grow our brand footprint.


Specific responsibilities include…


Set the strategy.


  • Partner with Founder to create multi-year Brand Strategy, crystallizing the brand vision and establishing a framework for how RGC shows up in the world
  • Translate the brand strategy and business goals into a clear marketing vision inclusive of well defined goals, KPIs, priority messages and channel strategies


Build & execute.


  • Set the foundation for how the Marketing team works including process development, documentation, tools, and collaboration models
  • Utilize consistent reporting and retrospectives to increase company-wide alignment and continuous improvement
  • Partner with Creative & Content teams to build a scalable, high-quality content production process that tells a consistent brand story and provides opportunities for Partnership Sales


Lead.


  • Serve as the senior-most Marketing leader in the company; provide thought-partnership to Founder & peers and model the RGC values
  • Grow, coach and retain a high-impact team of marketers


Who You Are


  • Process driven and detail oriented, obsessed with making sure every word and visual is in its right place
  • 2+ years leading a team
  • A builder and experimenter at heart
  • Analytical and data-informed, energized by diving into the numbers and campaign performance
  • A hands-on leader & operator well versed at finding creative ways to make an impact without waiting on external resources
  • Can speak growth and brand fluently, believing that the connection of both are required to build lasting relationships with customers
  • 7+ years Marketing experience, including consumer brand (B2C, DTC etc)
