PURPLE is actively seeking a bright and enthusiastic Account Coordinator to join its Digital Division in the agency’s New York office, working across our high-profile luxury clients to implement social media + influencer strategies to increase brand awareness online and support overarching business goals. The Account Coordinator will play a supporting role for Luxury Travel, Hospitality & Lifestyle clients.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of the digital landscape including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
· Day-to-day execution of client campaigns including but not limited to copywriting, social media community management, account growth, social media advertising, partnerships, and influencer outreach initiatives
· Communicate directly with customers via social media in an appropriate manner and established client voice
· Reporting compilation and send out using Sprout, Later, Meta, etc.
· Implement general social media best practices, serving as a resource for the client and overarching PURPLE team
· Attend client meetings and special events (inclusive of occasional nights and weekends)
· Ability to monitor social media channels outside the typical workweek whenever applicable
· Support senior account executives and managers with planning digital campaigns for diverse clients from conception to completion
Skills and Experience
- BA in Marketing or similar relevant field preferred
- Proven experience, full time or internship at a mid-sized PR agency or in-house marketing department
· Experience with Canva, Adobe Photoshop + Illustrator is a plus
· Must possess superior understanding of existing social media landscape including new and innovative tools and platforms
- Able to identify social media opportunities through a pro-active approach, bringing trending topics to the table to ensure clients are part of the conversation whenever possible
- Demonstrate solid understanding of and ongoing interest in social media and digital strategy
- Extremely well-organized, methodical, and efficient, with strong initiative
- Good understanding of social media KPIs
· Strategic, creative thinker with excellent oral and written communication skills
· Excellent organisational and time management skills with an aptitude for multi-tasking
- An ability to handle pressure with grace to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, and accountability-focused organization; a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude
