Design Coordinator / Junior Designer

Our luxury aviation interiors design client in Grand Prairie is looking for a Design Coordinator / Junior Designer to join their team FULL-TIME starting this month or August!

This role is onsite Monday through Friday from 9 to 6 pm.

As the right-hand partner to the Senior Designer, the Design Coordinator / Junior Designer supports administrative needs to keep projects moving while starting with basic design support.

This is perfect for a new graduate who is excited to get their feet wet in a niche interior design industry and hone their design skills and software proficiencies with talented mentors.

Bachelor's degree + 0 to 2 years of experience

Proactive and hungry to learn and grow within field

Strong creative and communication skills

Clean, beautifully organized and visually appealing portfolio

Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign

BONUS: Substance 3D, Sketchup Pro, Rhinoceros (Grasshopper a bigger plus), AutoCAD

Design Coordinator / Junior Designer Responsibilities

Help customers and designers select leather colors

Ensure color correctness for custom orders

Manage leather and product samples / swatches

Maintain samples / swatches library

Analyze potential missing colors in collections

Handle paperwork related to orders, samples, designs

Communicate effectively with vendors and team to address client needs

Prepare presentations (3D, 2D,mock-ups and renderings) for clients

Maintain industry knowledge in order to stay relevant
