We fabricate and install custom signs made with perfection to meet our client’s needs. You can see our work throughout the Houston Area and progressively moving throughout the United States. The Person:

As a Designer at Humble Sign Co, you will play a crucial role in the sign creation process. You will be responsible for translating client requirements and creative concepts into visually stunning and effective sign designs. Collaborating closely with our sales, production, and installation teams, you will ensure that the design process flows seamlessly from concept to completion, ultimately delivering captivating and impactful signs that exceed client expectations.

A few qualifications this integral person must possess are:

• Knowledge of various sign materials, fabrication techniques, and production processes is advantageous
• Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present ideas and collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with electrical sign design, or a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in graphic design, industrial design, or a related field
• Ability to adapt to evolving project requirements and handle design revisions with a positive and professional attitude
• Proven experience in graphic design, sign design, or related roles, preferably within the signage or manufacturing industry
• Meticulous attention to detail and a passion for delivering top-quality work
• Demonstrated creativity and the ability to think outside the box to deliver unique and innovative sign designs
• Proficient in Corel Draw, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant design software
• A strong and diverse portfolio showcasing a range of design projects and sign work, highlighting creativity, problem-solving, and attention to detail

A day in the life of a Designer would be:

• Conduct thorough reviews of completed signs to ensure they meet design specifications, quality standards, and brand consistency
• Ideate and conceptualize sign designs based on client requirements and project parameters, ensuring originality and innovation
• Develop creative and eye-catching sign designs that align with client specifications, brand guidelines, and the overall project vision
• Advise on appropriate materials and fabrication techniques that suit the design and intended use of the sign, considering factors such as durability, environmental conditions, and cost-effectiveness
• Produce detailed technical drawings and specifications for sign production, ensuring accurate translation of designs into manufacturing processes
• Effectively manage multiple design projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and client commitments
• Create and refine graphic elements, layouts, and typography for various signage applications, considering visibility, legibility, and aesthetics
• Stay up to date with industry trends, design techniques, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance design capabilities and creative offerings
• Work closely with the production team to oversee the implementation of designs, providing guidance and support throughout the manufacturing process
• Interact with clients to understand their signage needs, gather design requirements, and offer design suggestions and solutions to achieve the desired outcomes

Compensation:

$50,000 - $90,000 – DOE
