An award winning high-end interior design firm seeks an experienced Junior Designer to join the team. The ideal candidate will possess the talent and passion to create inspired interior designs. A self-starter who is able to multi-task and manage various projects independently with a high attention to detail will excel in this position. The ability to be a team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills is also a must.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ability to effectively communicate with vendors, architects, contractors and sub-contractors
• Create 2D and 3D renderings in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, Photoshop and other design software applications
• Ability to communicate with clients while providing exceptional customer service
• Ability to monitor and work within established budgets
• Assist lead designer in design consultations and presentations
• Create design presentations in various presentation platforms
• Ability to create and monitor schedules; ensure compliance for installation deadlines and project completions
• Ability to think autonomously and problem solve in a fast-paced environment
• Source materials and products from the resource room, Dallas design district and digitally

Job Qualifications:

• Professional appearance and demeanor
• BA in Interior Design or equivalent
• Possess a portfolio which demonstrates the ability to create exceptional interior designs
• 2+ years of demonstrated interior design experience at a similar interior design firm
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop and Enscape or other photo realistic software
