Functional/Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

Able to connect with team members at all levels of the organization, i.e., plant operations, management, executives

10+ years of professional experience in a well-respected organization, preferably within the healthcare industry

5+ years of strategic sourcing experience managing advanced negotiations

Experience working with various Finance and Business Systems.

Provide guidance, training, and education on the Procurement policy and process for business partners.

Focused experience on indirect procurement categories (Professional Services, Marketing, Workplace Operations, SaaS, etc).

Experience with P2P systems, Purchase Requisition Modules (OracleCloud preferred), JIRA, Salesforce, Contract Repositories, and Ticketing Systems is a plus.

Strong communications skills (written & verbal).

Review intake tickets and submit Purchase Requisitions on behalf of business owners through the OracleCloud ERP system.

Manage escalations due to delivery/quality issues, invoicing/payables issues, and database management.

Formal sourcing qualification / Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of work experience in procurement or supply chain.

Excellent negotiations skills and analytical skills with the ability to manage and develop supplier relationships.

Manage and complete sourcing support requests from category team including supplier updates, spend reports, template development, process design etc.

Manage stakeholder help requests inbox and maintain “how to guide”.

Develop relationships with requestors to ensure they are following the preferred Commodity strategy which meets their requirements.

5-10 years’ experience strategic sourcing/category management, transportation, or Supply Chain

Strong project management, negotiation and analytical skills.

Manage/consolidate NA category spend analytics and financial reporting

Strong leadership skills and ability lead cross functional teams and influence decision

Ability to successfully manage expectations of stakeholders, leadership, and colleagues on key initiatives.

Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills

Perform purchase requisition audits, purchase order management, invoice management and expediting as required

Ability to manage full sourcing projects and experience in leading and managing RFP process

Research and identify capable vendors or contractors and initiate selection, qualification, and approval of new vendors

Manage preparation, execution, and maintenance of electronic Requests for Information, Requests for Quotes, and Requests for Proposals (RFP) through project completion

Develop, manage, and monitor national alliance agreements and Master Service Agreements

One to three years of similar or related experience

A two-year degree, or completion of a specialized certification or licensing or training

Detailed and structured cost/financial analysis experience a plus.
