About The Role

Roku Pay, Core Payments team is looking for a Data Visualization Analyst to play an instrumental role in helping Roku take outstanding data tech and turn them into transformative results. You will work closely with analysts, engineers, PMs and business stakeholders to understand business questions, translate them into KPIs, create broad suite of dashboards and reports that allow stakeholders to answer questions quickly and with confidence and also be responsible for uncovering trends and opportunities from such reports The ideal candidate for this role loves designing and building data visualization products and analyzing data that can influence decision making.

What You Will Be Doing

• Serve as the resident expert in understanding the nuance of our existing reports. You will be the go-to-person when questions arise around the KPIs reported on dashboards
• Monitor key metrics and business processes to identify trends and uncover root causes that drive business impact Identify and fill gaps among our data assets and key metrics
• Work directly with analysts, PMs, and stakeholders to understand goals, gather requirements, and translate them into reports
• Design and create reports, dashboards, visualizations, and self-service tools that help partners monitor business trends and key metrics
• Liaise with data engineers to understand and communicate the impacts of underlying changes in the data and update dependent pipelines

We are excited if you have

• Fluency in SQL, Python, and ETL using big data tools (HIVE/Presto)
• The ability to work independently
• Strong analytical skills and ability to read uncover trends from large sets of data
• Bachelors or Masters in engineering, math, physics, computer science, economics or equivalent
• Fluency in Looker (LookML) and Tableau
• 2 years of relevant work experience in Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Technical Operations
• Ownership mindset- you own the end-to-end lifecycle of a product starting from ideation to adoption and maintenance
• Strong communication skills
