Bi Data Visualization Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented BI Data Visualization Specialist with expertise in Tableau and ORACLE SQL to join our dynamic team. As a BI Data Visualization Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining interactive and visually appealing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that enable data-driven decision making across the organization. Your primary focus will be on designing and implementing effective data visualizations using Tableau and querying data using ORACLE SQL. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate complex data sets into intuitive and insightful visualizations.

• Proven work experience as a BI Data Visualization Specialist or similar role.
• Proficient in querying and analyzing data using ORACLE SQL.
• Strong proficiency in Tableau for designing and developing interactive dashboards and reports.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
• Experience in data modeling, data warehousing, and data transformation processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools and libraries such as D3.js, Power BI, or QlikView is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Create visually appealing and user-friendly data visualizations that effectively communicate complex information to a non-technical audience.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in data visualization techniques and tools.
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Tableau.
• Develop and optimize queries using ORACLE SQL to retrieve data and support the creation of visualizations.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and other stakeholders to identify and extract relevant data from various sources.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to data visualization tools and platforms.
• Conduct training sessions and provide support to end-users on utilizing Tableau dashboards and reports effectively.
• Collaborate with the data governance team to ensure compliance with data security and privacy policies.
• Gather and analyze user requirements to understand their data visualization needs and objectives.
• Clean, transform, and prepare data to ensure accuracy and integrity for visualization purposes.
• Perform data analysis and identify insights, trends, and patterns within the data.
