Reporting & Visualization Analyst Jobs

Responsible for providing innovative data visualization solutions and for supporting peers and partners with troubleshooting calculations, content development, performance tuning, leveraging new features, applying software best practices, and choosing optimal methods regardless of delivery platform. Helps shape data architecture strategy, ensuring that data is structured in manner that facilitates access and usability. Works with assigned users and user groups on road map construction, reporting, and visualization platforms. Supports organizational efforts to solve problems and inform decision-making through innovation, collaboration, and technical expertise.
Responsibilities

• Helps develop intuitive, attractive, and interactive data visualizations for reports, presentations, and a range of other uses.
• Supports development of sustainable reporting and visualization solutions for legacy reporting associated with global and regional purchasing.
• Supports design, development, and execution of visualization solutions for assigned groups / teams.
• Maintains and updates Tableau Server workbooks, extracts, permissions, etc.
• Helps distill quantitative and qualitative data to communicate compelling stories to diverse audiences.
• Supports development of data visualization standards and the application of developed and emerging best practices.
• Supports technological idea development and transition of ideas / work from development into a final product.
• Engages with business partners and Team Members to understand data gathering, visualization, and reporting needs and expectations.
• Interprets and produces unique data visualizations to reflect user needs and requirements.

• BA/BS degree and 0-3 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

• Maintains positive working relationships with supported functional stakeholders.
• Collect required documentation and verify conformance with standards,
• Applies basic research, information gathering, and analytical skills to:
• Uses existing procedures to resolve standard problems.
• Understands how to take business analyses and projects from concept to completion.
• Familiar with relational databases, Alteryx, and writing SQL.
• Familiarity with Tableau – including charting techniques, dashboard actions, table calculations, level-of-detail calculations, parameter-driven filets, and dynamic filters.
• Supports team and cross-functional projects within defined area of responsibility.
• Handles detailed, structured problems; identifying roadblocks to task completion.
